Description
Calcium is an
important constituent of skeleton and teeth, and is essential for the activity
of a number of enzyme systems including those necessary for the transmission of
nerve impulses and for the contractile properties of muscle. It is also involved
in the coagulation of blood. In young growing and in adult animals, calcium
deficiency may lead to rickets and osteomalacia, respectively. These symptoms
may also result from a deficiency in phosphorus, which is closely associated
with calcium in bone.
Indications
Calci fort is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium
deficiencies in calves. It can promote feed conversion, the animal’s gain of
weight, laying rate, and prevent and treat diseases such as rickets and
osteomalacia |
